“What Comes From Rain” is a 14x18 inch oil painting on cradeled wood board. It is part of my Wildflowers series, an abstract expression of joy, freedom, and playfulness. The flowers in this series are abstract and not based on actual flowers, but generally inspired by the boundless creativity and diversity in nature. Using a predefined color palette, my process is to simply begin with random brushstrokes, and to see what takes shape.
